In February 2020 I visited the school for a cultural exchange event. It was a great experience and meeting with the students, listening to them talk about their group activities, it was fun. I still have the gift which the flower arrangement group gave me that day (see the picture above). Since students cannot come to school, group activities are not possible now, which is a shame. But this is a unique time we are living in and we must all do our best to get through this in one piece. When that happens, I hope you all can enjoy your school days to the fullest, and I would like to visit and see you all once more. Till then take care! Besides the non-essential business temporarily closure and the encouragement to work from home, we celebrated Songkran festival (the traditional Thai New Year during April 13-15) at home. So don’t get upset if you have to stay at home during the self-quarantine and the Golden week. This is actually a good time to deep clean the house, do the readings and declutter things. ここタイでは、4月から全国的に封鎖（ロックダウン）されています。生活にどうしても必要なビジネス以外を一時的な閉めたり、在宅勤務をすすめたり、ソンクランフェスティバル（4月13〜15日の伝統的なお祭り、タイのお正月）を自宅でお祝いしたりしました。 ですから、小学生のみなさんも、学校が休校中やゴールデンウィーク中に家にいる必要がある場合でも、イライラしないでください。家をよく掃除したり、読書をしたり、物事を整理したりするのに良い時期ですよ。 While decluttering my photo albums, I found this photo to share with you: to reflect that being indoors can be fun, too!
